Normally run in groups of six to ten people, each session involves watching a DVD programme, followed by time to talk, listen and ask questions. Sessions last roughly ninety minutes.

Having just bought this course I am disappointed that the DVD has not be subtitled as the ‘Start’ course one was. This means this course is inaccessible to the large group of people who have hearing difficulties (14% population). Is there any chance this can be done so that this valuable resource can really be used well?

Thanks for your comment. For a number of practical reasons to do with the double layer extended DVD format it wasn’t possible for us to embed subtitles on the disc. We’ll look at the issue again when we do a repressing of the DVD to see if there is a way of facilitating the use of subtitles.
